Excercises are Essential to be Fit

The key to retain youth and also staying slim is the target of every woman. Some believe in staying fit by the value of aerobics and some in dieting. As any dieter knows ,losing weight is easy, but keeping it off is hard.In fact, only 10 percent of people who are on diets without exercise are actually able to maintain their weight loss one year after the diet programme ,and the other 90 percent of the people who buy into popular weight loss programmes on the market, end up gaining all of the weight back within a year or two. What can one do to maintain the weight loss?

Any weight loss exercise programme which is made only by making diet schedule and not focusing on exercise do a great harm to themselves. About half of the weight loss will be muscle and water .

Even if the scales do register weight loss, the body composition will be worse ,simply because tissue has been lost. If muscle tissue is lost, metabolism slows down and fewer calories are burned. For every half kilo of muscle that you lose, your metabolism slows down by approximately 0.5 percent .

It is true that aerobic exercises such as jogging, cycling, swimming, etc. offer health benefits and have been promoted as effective calorie -burning and weight -reducing activities. Aerobics means “in the presence of oxygen”, that is vigorous exercise designed to increase oxygen intake. An aerobically-conditioned body can better extract fatty acids, glucose and oxygen from the blood to improve energy supply to both the brain and the muscles .

Research has claims that the aerobic exercise can increase high -density lipoproteins (the good cholesterol) in the blood, stabilize or lower blood pressure, lower resting heart rate ,build limited muscle and almost decrease the body fat levels. So, it should be noted that weight training is the best bet, it increases the metabolically active and calorie-burning muscle and slows down the effects of ageing as well. Hence today the standard fitness formula for fat loss and redefinition is combination of weight -lifting, aerobics, and low fat eating.
